The tail kit arrived, which contains the Vertical Stabilizer, Rudder, Horizontal Stabilizer, Elevators, and Aft Fuselage.
While this kit arrived in early October 2024, I wasn’t ready to start yet. The tool kit from Cleaveland arrived obviously, but skillset-wise I just wasn’t ready yet. Fast forward to December, I finally started taking things out of the box..
After a lot more reading, and a couple phone calls to my buddy Scott to get some clarification on a few things I wasn’t sure on, I started with the clecos..
I was only just getting started so I was nervous about removing the blue vinyl for the initial “does this shit actually go together” stuff, but it does start to come off soon, I promise. But first, I wanted to see the Vertical Stab in all its pretend-assembled glory..
With all the fitment done and admired, I disassembled, prepped for prime, and moved to the rudder..
Putting these aside for now, I then moved on to the Rudder..
