omg omg omg!
This is a very exciting chapter. In this chapter, I join the aft fuselage to the main fuselage. This happened over a series of days, as I needed some help due to not have go-go-gadget arms to reach around as far as is needed. Earlier in the year (2026) I had set the goal of accomplishing this step ahead of Oshkosh in July. I ended up meeting that goal with time to spare. In fact, as I write and publish this post, I’m on the United flight to AirVenture in Oshkosh now. Huge thanks to Jeff, Shawn, and Eric across various visits to help me get all these rivets set.
I finished this chapter on June 21, 2026, a month ahead of my goal. I also got it up on the rotisserie not too long after
